Hello…
Notes from the farm
Gardening has always been part of my life, passed down from my mum and grandma. For years, I loved tending a small cutting garden within our vegetable patch, gathering flowers to share with friends and family.
In 2024, after experiencing burnout in my role as an Inclusion Leader and Assistant Headteacher, I knew it was time to slow down and find a new path that supported my wellbeing.
In early 2025, with a gentle push and a newly fenced field from my husband and family, I decided to follow a long-held dream and start a flower farm. Over one busy weekend, we prepared the ground using the no-dig method, layering cardboard, sheep fleece, manure, and compost, 'Harbridge Farm Flowers' was born. Despite a summer heatwave, our flowers thrived and we begun to sell bouquets of seasonal flowers through 'Pop Ups', and direct from the farm, as well as wholesale direct to florists.
Now, as the farm continues to grow, we will continue to expand our wholesale range, DIY wedding flowers, and flower subscriptions, as well as being able to offer workshops at the farm too.
I hope you’ll join us on this journey and enjoy the beauty of locally grown, seasonal British flowers.
